Hi!
If your prints are showing gaps or inconsistent spacing, there are a few common things you can check:
- Clean the nozzle to make sure it isn't partially clogged.
- Check the filament and ensure it feeds smoothly without tangling or excessive resistance.
- Reduce the print speed slightly to give the extruder more time to lay down filament consistently.
- Increase the nozzle temperature by 5–10°C (within the recommended range for your filament) to improve extrusion.
- Calibrate the flow rate (extrusion multiplier) if the gaps appear consistently throughout the print.
- Check the extruder gear to make sure it is clean and gripping the filament properly.
To help us identify the exact cause, could you please send us:
- A few photos of the printed model showing the gaps.
- A short video of the printer while it's printing.
- The filament type you're using (PLA, PETG, etc.) and the nozzle temperature.
Once we have this information, we'll be happy to help you troubleshoot further.
